Bella

(click on a photo to enlarge it)

Bella is a pretty little Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. She is a young girl around three years old. It was her good fortune to come into rescue. She was found trapped in a window well and strained her rear leg jumping up and down trying to get out. She’s healing up nicely in a foster home. She’s a shy girl when you first meet her, but is very sweet and loves to be petted. We find that she does best with older children and she is fine with other dogs. Bella has been spaedy and is ready for a home of her own.

Bella Update:   Just wanted to update all of you, I just got done vacationing at a foster mom’s house and here’s what she had to say about me….I dealt well with noise, commotion, barking, hyper dogs and older dogs with health problems – male and females.  Foster mom even had a cat who meows all the time and I didn’t even bat an eye at her.  My vacation home found out that I’m crate and house trained.  I discovered what a pretty girl I am in her mirror and my tail never stopped wagging.  I do need to lose a little bit of weight but I started my diet while on vacation and it’s going quite well if I do say so myself.  I know it says I have a bad hip but I managed 7 steps up and down with no problems but the ice in the backyard made me tiptoe carefully.  She kept telling me what an easy dog I am to take care of.
