Marigny*

(click on a photo to enlarge it)

Marigny(pronounced "Mari-nee") is from New Orleans, born and bred. He was rescued from the streets when he was just a few weeks old and has been living in a cage ever since. The rescue group that saved his life is housed in a warehouse with no windows and there are hundreds of cats stacked in cages on top of cages. Until he arrived here, his feet had never touched the ground, he had never seen a tree or felt a breeze or slept on a bed. Of the hundreds of cats that I saw that day, I picked Marigny to come back to Denver for adoption because when I walked into the warehouse I saw him out of the corner of my eye throwing a mousie up in the air. I figured that a cat like that, with that kind of heart and spirit needed his freedom as soon as possible. He is a darling black and white tuxedo, about a year old, neutered male, leukemia/aids negative, and beautiful! If you would like to find out more about Marigny or set up an appointment to meet him, please contact barnwatercat@aol.com.
