Good Samaritan Pet Center is a 501(c) 3 non-profit animal rescue organization that provides a “shelter alternative” for homeless animals throughout the Metro area. We are a network of foster parents who care for these animals until a permanent home can be found.

Our mission is to promote healthy relationships between people and their pets. We strive to prevent animal abuse and abandonment and provide resources and support services to fulfill these goals.

Foster Parents Needed

Not quite ready for the long-term commitment of an adoption, but still interested in helping? No problem! We would love for you to consider making yours a foster home for one of our wonderful animals in need. As a foster parent, you get all the joy & companionship a four-legged friend brings to your life, plus the knowledge that you are helping to save the life of a very deserving animal! Call us at 303-333-2291 for information on how you can get involved in our foster program.

Pet Overpopulation Fund

When you prepare your Colorado State Income Tax Return, please consider a donation to the Pet Overpopulation Fund. Simply enter the amount you wish to contribute on Line 38 of your tax return. Your donation will help fund grants to assist local caregivers to provide spay and neuter surgeries for the more than 21,000 dogs and cats in underserved areas of Colorado. It also provides education funds to encourage Coloradoans to have their dogs and cats spayed and neutered. All donations are used for the animals; administrative services are provided at no cost.
